As of the day that I am typing this, it's safe to say that we don't have enough man power to do what we're supposed to do. We need more members with specific skill sets. Although a criminology major would be a great addition to the team, we don't necessarily need one right now. Just a few people with more than 1000 hours worth of internet research about various topics on crime would be of great help.
I was already well aware that I was going to have a hard time when I started a new forum, but the Elisa Lam case made me realize just how much of a hard time I was going to have. Just analyzing a 4 minute video stumped us. There were too many uncertainties.
I know that going on a hiatus will not help this forum, so I will try to keep this forum as active as possible. Maybe this might one day reach the tenth page of google, at least by then, a few desperate people that really need this forum might see this and join the team.
For now however, we have no other choice but to move at a snail's pace. Reaching to a conclusion on cases might take months, but as long as we do not stop our progress, we will, one day, give birth to another successful forum.
